News Lens India (NLI) is a platform for the analysis of news, editorials, and other media and cultural texts — an effort to uncover the discourse behind discourse. Every report, every headline, every panel debate carries choices about language, framing, and emphasis. NLI exists to slow down and look closely at those choices.

The channel organises solo news analysis, panel discussions, and interviews, and the website carries written pieces analysing news and other issues concerning society, art, culture, and nature — including the environment.

NLI's aim is not to deliver news faster, but to read it more carefully: to ask what a story assumes, what it leaves out, and whose voice it amplifies.
